By producing and distributing organic, permaculture grown vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers within "CommonUnity, we are creating an educational resource for neighboring communities while   introducing  affordable fresh produce and herbs into areas lacking access.

According to a report prepared for Congress by the Economic Research Service of the US Department of Agriculture, about 2.3 million people (or 2.2 percent of all US households) live more than one mile away from a supermarket and do not own a car.

The consequences of long-term constrained access to healthy foods is one of the main reasons that ethnic minority and low-income populations suffer from statistically higher rates of obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other diet-related conditions than the general population.

Our goal is to provide neighborhood wellness hubs complete with affordable housing, local organic produce and sustainable educational resources.
